ACE Aviation commenced operations on March 1, 1997 as Airline Charter Enterprises. Founded by David Edwards and Phillip Brander, the vision was to provide a Virtual Airline that surpassed anything being offered on the internet. Many months of planning went into what was ultimately to be called Airline Charter Enterprises (ACE).

Today, ACE is the largest Virtual Airline operating, and offers a level of interactivity and uniqueness which has, to date, not been matched. ACE has been the recipient of many awards and has been featured in leading industry publications.

With the success of ACE 'the Virtual Airline', the decision was made by the Founders to officially register the operation as a business. On 26 May, 1998, ACE Aviation was founded and assumed operation of Airline Charter Enterprises, and all other developments.

ACE Aviation today continues to develop new and innovative projects. Recently launched was AvLink, a banner exchange programme focusing solely on aviation content. New projects are currently in development and will be featured on this site when their release date is imminent.
